Current Developments
Since the Association was established, we have built several hundred properties in Shetland and we continue to undertake new housing developments in order to try to meet the continuing strong demand.
We work in partnership with the Scottish Government, Shetland Islands Council and other agencies to provide affordable housing for rent and where appropriate low cost home ownership. Our aim is to provide housing which is of high quality design, energy efficient, sustainable, secure and meets the varying needs of the occupier, whilst ensuring that we make the best possible use of the funding available.
