What constitutes an Emergency?

All emergency calls should be made to the Hjaltland Emergency Contact, below.

Only in the following circumstances should an emergency call be made:

Electricity
Mains electrical supply failure (other than a power cut), or
Dangerous fault
Water
Water supply failure (a burst pipe or tank)
Drainage
Drain blocked with a serious leakage, or
Blocked or totally unusable WC (if only one in the house)
Heating
Total heating system breakdown in winter (aged, disabled, young baby in household or other special needs)
People at risk
Elderly or infirm tenant is at risk or is locked out or in
Security
Property left insecure (e.g. after a break-in)

If you cannot reach us on this number, call the appropriate contractor. However, you must advise us of the problem as soon as possible afterwards, otherwise we will not accept responsibility for the repair costs.
