Are you a parent or carer for a child under 6 years of age?
Do you receive any of the following benefits;
- Universal Credit
- Child Tax Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Income Support
- Pension Credit
- Income Based Job Seekers
- Income Based Employment and Support Allowance
If so, you may be eligible to receive an extra £10 per week for each child under six. Payments will be made straight into your bank account and will start from 15th February 2021. Social Security Scotland are accepting applications now, and we would encourage you make your claim in the following ways;

This payment will not affect other social security payments you receive, and is part of The Scottish Government’s Tackling Child Poverty Delivery Plan.
