Maintenance & Estate Technician – Full Time Permanent Position

Maintenance & Estate Technician – Full Time Permanent Position (37.5hrs per week) – Salary £38,398 (£19.69 per hour inclusive of island allowance)

We have an excellent opportunity for a hardworking, reliable, and experienced Maintenance and Estate Technician to join our team.

As the largest provider of new housing in Shetland, Hjaltland builds, manages, and maintains houses all over Shetland, and will offer you excellent conditions including 25 days annual leave plus 15 days public holidays, a sickness benefit scheme and company pension. Additional payments will be made for any emercency callouts and a van will be provided as required.

As a Maintenance & Estate Technician you will have a variety of responsibilities carrying out stock condition surveys and minor estate maintenance such as, general building work, cutting grass, fencing, changing filters, cleaning guttering, painting, weed and moss control etc.

The successful applicant must be able to work as an effective member of a team, be self-reliant, and able to work well under pressure as well as having experience of prioritising their workload and meeting deadlines.
