Experienced Joiner and Labourer Required

We have excellent opportunities for hardworking, reliable and experienced Joiner and Experienced Labourer to join our repairs and maintenance team.

As the largest provider of new housing in Shetland, Hjaltland builds, manages and maintains houses all over Shetland.

The joinery role will involve working with the asset management team delivering a high quality and cost effective planned and day to day maintenance service, which includes carrying out minor repairs and essential estates services. It should be noted that we also require the successful applicant to be on call for emergencies, therefore a van is provided with this post.

As a skilled labourer you will have a variety of responsibilities carrying out minor estate maintenance such as assisting tradesmen, general concrete work, cutting grass to several schemes, changing filters, cleaning properties, painting and moving materials etc. It should be noted that we are also requiring the successful applicant to be on call for emergencies, therefore a van is provided with this post.
