The Chartered Institute of Housing in Scotland (CIH Scotland) has confirmed the appointment of three new board members including Hjaltland Housing Association’s own Phillip Morrison-Gale.

Phillip is the Head of Housing and customer service at Hjaltland Housing Association. Originally from Northumberland, he is also director at Citizens Advice Bureau in Shetland and previously worked for Blackwood Homes & Care and Link Group in Edinburgh and Clúid Housing in the Republic of Ireland.

The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) is the independent voice for housing and the home of professional standards.

Phillip said “I’m delighted to be joining the board at CIH Scotland. Having been a member of CIH since my career in housing began, I have received invaluable advice, support and knowledge which allowed me to progress in my career. I’m very much looking forward to working with the other board members, who all share a commitment to the profession and recognise the central role that housing plays in people’s lives”
