Important Notice to all Tenants

We have been notified of someone masquerading as a contractor, stating they are working on behalf of The Association. The gentleman was ‘working’ on an external boiler, and would not provide his name, or the name of the company he works for, when challenged. When he was told The Association would be contacted to verify the work, he left very quickly.

Please remember we will always notify you when we are planning to do works to your property, inside or out. Our contractors will always be happy to supply both their name, and the name of the company they work for. If you have any concerns regarding suspicious behaviour in our around your property or neighbourhood, please phone us on 01595 694986 or phone Police Scotland on 101 (999 in emergency). If you can, noting the vehicle registration number may also be very useful information.

This incident has been reported to both Police Scotland and Shetland Trading Standards.
