Rent Consultation 25/26
It’s that time of year again when the Association is looking for tenants to provide feedback on the proposed rent increase, which will take effect as of 1st April 2025. All tenants will be receiving their consultation documents in the coming days, either via Royal Mail, or in the majority of cases, through email. We would kindly ask that tenants consider the information contained within the Information leaflet, and then complete the survey accordingly. We want tenants to have a genuine say on the key decisions we know will have an impact on them and their households.
With the Association being a social landlord and registered charity, maintaining rent at an affordable level is our number one priority when it comes to considering a rent increase. The Association’s Management Committee are inviting comments and feedback in relation to the proposed rent increase for 2025/26. Comments will be collected until Friday 7th February 2025, with a summary report being presented to the Management Committee on Thursday 20th February 2025.
Once a final decision on the rent increase has been made, all tenants will be provided with at least four weeks written notice before the new rent levels commence in April 2025.
