Tenant Energy Support Service

Hjaltland Housing Association tenants will soon be receiving notification, via email and letter, of a two-year extension to a service that has already proven invaluable for many households. The Association recently signed a new 24-month partnership extension with Changeworks, Scotland’s leading environmental charity with expertise in energy advice.

Tenants will be supported to manage the energy consumption at home, including;

• Access to an online energy advice library
• Bespoke support from friendly and knowledgeable advisors, who are on hand to guide tenants through a range of issues, including more complex advocacy work

In addition to this, the Association will register new tenants to the Energy Confident New Tenant scheme, providing tailored support to tenants for the first 8 weeks of life in their new home. At a time when the cost of living continues to put pressure on household budgets, we are delighted to offer tenants access to this excellent resource, with great potential to not only make financial savings, but also benefit from advice to ensure the home is being run as efficiently as possible.
