This project involves a number of design phases for the different areas on the site. The enabling work commenced in December 23, and will see the main spine road and services constructed ahead of the first housing project scheduled to be onsite spring 26.
Staneyhill Terrace Phase 1 Housing, Lerwick
This project is due to commence construction in June 2026 and it is anticipated completion will be achieved in 2028.
This development will result in the provision of 32 new homes in Lerwick and is the first phase of housing on the Associations Staneyhill site. The properties will be accessed from North Loch Drive with parking provided inbetween each of the three blocks of flats.
The property sizes being provided on this project:
- Thirty Two (1-Bedroom 2-person flats)
All properties are timber kit construction with external blockwork and timber cladding. The heating is supplied via the local district heating scheme 'Shetland Heat Energy and Power' (SHEaP) and all properties have fire suppression systems and Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery.
